EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ – Mayor Laura Pfrommer and Committeeman Paul Hodson are proudly seeking reelection to the Egg Harbor Township Committee and are asking for the votes of their fellow EHT Republicans in the June 2nd Primary Election.
The two proven municipal leaders have worked side-by-side for more than a decade and will once again be running as a team under the banner “Hodson-Pfrommer for EHT Committee.” Laura and Paul pledge to continue delivering responsible, results-driven leadership for the township’s 48,000 residents.
Laura Pfrommer and Paul Hodson appear on the GOP Primary Ballots as the officially Endorsed Candidates of the Atlantic County Republicans.
Mayor Pfrommer, first elected in 2011, is currently serving her fourth year as Mayor and previously served four years as Deputy Mayor. Committeeman Hodson Joined the Township Committee in 2006. He served as Deputy Mayor from 2013 to 2018 and lead EHT as Mayor from 2019 to 2022. Their partnership has forged a strong working relationship built on mutual respect, fiscal discipline, and a shared commitment to the residents of Egg Harbor Township.
Together, Hodson & Pfrommer have delivered a proven record of achievement. They have worked with the Republican majority on Township Committee to maintain Egg Harbor Township’s status as the community with the lowest municipal tax rate among all full-service towns in Atlantic County. Through sound fiscal planning they have kept the Township’s budget under the state’s strict spending and tax levy caps. Their prudent management has stabilized the township’s debt, preserved its strong AA bond rating, and ensured the delivery of quality municipal services without overburdening EHT’s taxpayers.
Hodson & Pfrommer have always made public safety a top priority. They have consistently supported the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, EMS, and volunteer fire companies, ensuring our first responders can safely and effectively respond to tens of thousands of calls for service annually.
Faced with the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hodson & Pfrommer’s steady, experienced stewardship balanced the requirements of residents, the business community and ever-changing public health mandates to ensure public safety and guarantee that personal freedoms were protected.
Quality economic development and smart growth have flourished under their watch. The Hodson & Pfrommer Team have focused on attracting well-run businesses and reputable residential developers and respecting the rights of property owners while ensuring that the unique rural nature of Egg Harbor Township is preserved for all to enjoy.
Hodson & Pfrommer have advanced infrastructure improvements, including ongoing road resurfacing programs, park enhancements such as Tony Canale Park, and flood-mitigation efforts in vulnerable areas.
Looking to the future, Hodson & Pfrommer offer a bright vision of continuing progress for Egg Harbor Township.
The Hodson- Pfrommer Team pledge to continue to focus on building a thriving, affordable, family-friendly community featuring:
· Outstanding municipal services at the lowest possible cost
· Thoughtful and sustainable economic growth
· Right-sized, modern and resilient infrastructure
· Expanding recreational opportunities
· Preservation of our precious open spaces
· Strong partnerships with the school district and county
“Egg Harbor Township is stronger today because of the teamwork and dedication we have brought to every decision,” said Mayor Pfrommer. “Paul and I are proud of what we have accomplished together, and we are energized to keep building on that foundation.”
Committeeman Hodson added, “Our Township deserves experienced, proven leaders who put residents first. Laura and I have delivered results through good times and difficult challenges. We stand ready to keep moving Egg Harbor Township forward towards an even brighter future.”
